Just out of interest, here's a little SketchUp of the kitchen done before it was actually built.  I spent a whole lot of time planning and measuring to make sure everything fitted just right - and it all went well! Moral of the story? Measure 10 times, cut once :)

So for the past year or so (!) we've been bashing out the old kitchen and fitting a new one, whilst working around a complete heating system upgrade, new wiring, AV kit installs, a day job and more weddings and birthdays than I can count!  Here's a short photo walk-through from start to (nearly) finished!
